I KNOW WHAT IT’S LIKE TO GET OUT OF BED AND IMMEDIATELY START COUNTING DOWN THE HOURS UNTIL YOU CAN CRAWL BACK INTO IT.

I remember being sick, exhausted, going through the motions, and wondering “Is this my life now? Am I going to feel like this forever?”

If that sounds like your story too - I get it.

Hey, I’m Sarah!

I help people who struggle with chronic health issues (and chronic exhaustion) to get their energy, joy, and lives back.

Because this should not be your “new normal”:

  • You wake up preloaded with exhaustion wondering how you’re going to make it through the day without feeling depleted.

  • You need to feel better. You’ve tried supplements, massages, yoga ET CETERA — they give temporary relief, but haven’t solved the problem. You’ve been to doctors, and if you have a mysterious chronic health condition, you’ve probably left feeling SOL.

  • You power through with a smile plastered on your face, feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated and like you’re failing the people you love no matter how hard you try.

  • Everyone’s counting on you. Your family depends on you. Your boss requires you to, you know, show up. You do so much for so many, dragging your tired ass the whole way.

Yeah? … Yeah

You know you should change your diet and exercise more, but who has the time? All the cooking, prepping, measuring, weighing and moving that goes into it is like a full-time job, and you’ve already got one of those. Nobody’s going to give you a 6 month sabbatical so you can get it together (and that’s about what it would take).

Seriously, even if someone did deliver THE SOLUTION to you right now, you don’t even have the bandwidth to consider it. And the next person who says “have you tried [fill in the blank]” is gonna get more than your stink-eye.

WHAT IF FEELING LIKE CRAP IS YOUR BODY’S WAY OF SAYING YOUR LIFE ISN’T WORKING FOR YOU?

For my chronic health issues, I only found lasting relief when I got desperate enough to take a very honest look at myself and my life.

Here’s what I’ve found to be true.

I was really sick in my early 30s with an auto-immune condition. I barely had the energy to get off the couch to cook dinner. Even things I loved doing, like yoga and going out, felt like nuisances. I was barely living my life.

But some voice in the back of my mind kept whispering that my diagnosis and all my symptoms were trying to tell me something, trying desperately to get my attention. Like an SOS flair from my body to wake the fuck up and deal with my deeper issues.

And until I did, my body would not allow me to go about “business as usual.” I had to slow down and take inventory of how I was living.

My work/life balance didn’t exist. There was no balance. I was over-giving, over-doing, over-scheduling, and over-promising to EVERYONE. I couldn’t stop. I couldn’t say no. I couldn’t make time or space for myself, my wellbeing, or my health.

I was last on my priority list and just about anything or anyone could cut in front.

I couldn’t stick to a structure or routine - the ones I knew would probably help to improve my sleep, my health and quality of life.

My body had to break to get me to stop, pay attention, and prioritize myself.

After much exploration, study and practice of holistic lifestyle principles (Functional Medicine in particular) I was able to put my AI condition into remission. I feel amazing now.

Now, more often than not, I wake up refreshed (without an alarm!). I sleep well. I eat right (most of the time) and actually enjoy it (most of the time). I dance (or rollerskate) around the house for fun. I relish my yoga practice. I have so much more time and energy for what matters most. And far from feeling depleted - I feel clear, content and capable.

But it took a whole-life, whole-mind change. That’s what we mean when we talk about Functional Medicine. It’s really reorienting yourself to live within a natural state of balance.

Your body is not broken.

Repeat after me YOUR BODY IS NOT BROKEN.

If I did it, so can you.

These results don’t come from a magic pill. It’s really about:

  • Listening to your body instead of trying to resist it

  • Committing to incremental everyday lifestyle changes

  • Cultivating the ability to prioritize your needs and say “NO

MY CLIENTS SEE AN AVERAGE OF A 75% REDUCTION OF SYMPTOMS OVER THE COURSE OF OUR WORK TOGETHER.

That’s 75% more energy, better sleep, less pain, more joy. Sound good? Yeah, of course it does. But are you ready to really prioritize your health?

I’m not gonna lie. It’s hard work to change a lifetime of habitually putting other people first.

You have to leave your comfort zone of people-pleasing, face the fear that everyone will hate you (they won’t - really), redefine how you spend your time, what you eat, how you think…

Consider it a homecoming, coming home to yourself. Where have you been all these years?

It’s a lot.

But you get your life back.

And it will be even better than before.

BECAUSE WHAT WE’RE DOING HERE IS HEALING MORE THAN YOUR BODY. WE’RE HEALING YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO YOURSELF.

Yeah.

I KNOW YOU’RE LIKE “WELL… OKAY THEN. GULP. LET’S DO IT!” BUT FIRST, LET’S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER.

Stuff you should know about me:

  • I am a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master/Teacher. My training and expertise spans the gap between the esoteric and scientific. I have been working in the holistic health field for over 14 years. Yes, I actually know what I’m doing.

  • My clients describe working with me as “a safe place to be real even when they ‘fail.’” I think that’s super weird because if you are here and still trying, you are never, ever failing. You’re just pacing yourself at winning.

  • I love the comfort of hard, cold researched facts just as much as the wild, unexplainable magic of life.

  • Exploring the nitty-gritty of what makes someone tick and watching them light up from the inside out is just about my favorite thing of all.

Stuff you never asked to know:

  • I picked up roller skating at 38 and am OBSESSED with learning tricks and fancy things. (Am I living my best life or having a midlife crisis? Maybe both!)

  • I LOVE to knit and may have an unfinished project pile bigger than my dirty laundry pile, and that’s saying something.

  • I do a New Moon ritual every month to reflect on the past month and set intentions for the coming month. (Am I a secret witch or new age weirdo? Maybe both!)

  • I have a hobby I refer to as “poop gazing”. I always check out my BMs, like...every time. There is so much your #2 can tell you about how your digestive tract is functioning!

And you know those premade biscuit packs where you have to press the seal with a spoon to pop it open. I can’t do it. I just fucking can’t! That moment between PRESS and POP gives me so much anxiety. I swear it’s going to explode in my face.

(Irrational fear or legitimate concern? Definitely LEGITIMATE.)

Now that I’ve undermined my credibility completely, let’s talk about you.

How’d you like to hop on a free chat with me and tell me how your poop is going?

KIDDING.

We don’t have to go there.

But we could…
